包括ライセンスのWindows OSの使用権は，アップグレード権として提供されます。
インストールするパソコンに下記のいずれかのOSのライセンスが備わっているか，使用者が下記のOSのライセンスを所有していることが必要です。 1ライセンスに対して1本のアップグレード権が発生します。
LinuxやFreeBSD，Solarisは下記のリストに含まれないため，アップグレード対象にはなりません。

• Windows 10 （Education/Enterprise/Pro/Home） 
• Windows 8/8.1 （Enterprise/Pro/無印）
• Windows 7 （Ultimate/Enterprise/Professional/Home Premium/Home Basic/Starter）
• Windows Vista（Ultimate/Bussiness/Home Premium/Home Basic）
• Windows XP（Pro/Home/Tablet）
• MacOS（教職員および令和元年(2019年)度以前入学の学生のみ）

包括ライセンスでアップグレードしたOSを使用している間は，元々インストールされていたマイクロソフト社製のOSの使用権は一時的になくなります。
離籍時(教職員は退職、学生は卒業等の離籍)はアップグレード権を失い，元々インストールされていたOSの使用権が戻ります。
上記離籍時は包括ライセンスでアップグレードしたOSをアンインストールして元のOSに戻す必要がありますので，インストールメディアやライセンス証書等は保管しておいてください。

The usage rights for Windows OS under the comprehensive license are provided as upgrade rights.  To install, the computer must have a license for one of the following operating systems, or the user must possess a license for one of the listed OS options.  One upgrade right is granted per license.  
Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris are not included in this list and are not eligible for upgrades. 

・Windows 10 (Education/Enterprise/Pro/Home) 
・Windows 8/8.1 (Enterprise/Pro/Standard) 
・Windows 7 (Ultimate/Enterprise/Professional/Home Premium/Home Basic/Starter) 
・Windows Vista (Ultimate/Business/Home Premium/Home Basic) 
・Windows XP (Pro/Home/Tablet) 
・MacOS (only for faculty and staff, and students enrolled before the 2019 academic year) 

While using the OS upgraded under the comprehensive license, the usage rights for the originally installed Microsoft OS will be temporarily suspended.  
Upon leaving, you will lose the upgrade rights, and the usage rights for the originally installed OS will be reinstated.  
During this transition, you will need to uninstall the OS upgraded under the comprehensive license and revert to the original OS.  
Please keep the installation media and license certificate for your records.
